This week I wanted to show you a different way of taping the knee for races and long runs. Runners knee can be such a pain in the you know what! And I think almost all of us have had that ache sensation at some stage with our running. You want to look at using as many strategies as possible to support the knee so you can run forever and I looked at quad strength specifically, today I want to show you another way to tape it. You can use rigid sports tape but often with a race this might be a bit restricting. K Tape is less supportive but if you just have a bit of a niggle or the ache comes as you up distance, often it’s enough to get you through pain free. I like using a v taping to guide the knee up and down rather than it getting dragged towards the outside by poor mechanics.
This is an easy one to try and can be good to have in your running injury free arsenal for long runs and races. I use pink in this video but always remember, Red Goes Faster!!
