RIFREV VIDEO 150!! The Journey Has Just Begun!

Friday, July 04, 2014
Hey RIFREVers!

VIDEO 150!! Whooo!!! One year down and so much fun. We’ve had a blast. Thank you all so much for your awesome messages and support from the thousands of new RIFREVers out there! For 150 Ang, Will and myself talk about the major take home keys for Running Injury Free. Ang talks about the importance of knowing how to set the deepest layer of abdominal muscles as well as incorporating the whole body with core strength from abs to glutes to quads, the lot. Will talks about how it is essential to relax when you run using body position to take you forward and that with the right technique running doesn’t have to cause injuries! I wanted to point out how understanding the body and how muscles tighten is key to being injury free. When you know that you can nip niggles in the bud and the next level is to use those skills to optimise your running, faster, longer, further, no matter what your goal. The major point for modern runners is that you want to put all of this together, STRENGTH, TECHNIQUE AND MUSCLE RELEASE! That’s RIFREVer guys, smart runners getting the most out of life!

Congrats to all RIFREVers out there having fun running 5k to standing on the podiums with the ultras! It’s all about getting out and doing whatever it is you want to do! This is not the end guys, keep sending us your video requests, your inspiring stories! You are the first RIFREVers! Thank you so much! The journey has only just the begun!
