Hey RIF REVers,

Getting excited about all the running events coming up! Caught up with the Running Mums crew with Running Girl and the Shopaholic Runner for the marathon seminar in the clinic the other day. Great to see so many old friends! The long runs are starting to take a toll on some of us and we have seen a few calf injuries lately. We are always aware of technique first with calves. You get tired and start to sink through hips then you have to push with calves because your body position can't transfer force forwards for running which is way less efficient and smashes calves! If you have had a fewcalf twinges or even an old injury it's wise to look after them lengthwise as well as strength wise. In this video I get help from the running mums RMA to show you how to strengthen calves on a daily basis. This is what a lot of our athletes do and they are almost religious with it because they are motivated to keep calf injuries as a thing of the past. You can too.
